Arrive early and stand in a semi-pointless and annoying line - but it’s the only way to guarantee a seat back to NYC. Look for trains that originate here.. otherwise you’ll be waiting a loooong time.

This is usually ranked among the top 10 busiest stations in the Amtrak system. All trains go to & from Penn Station except the Boston portions of the Lake Shore Limited, trains 448 and 449.

There is practically nothing here. This is not really a train station. It's more like a rest stop.

Easy station to get in and out of with access up and down the Hudson River. Very helpful staff.

Hilton Albany offers a free shuttle service if you have reservations. Just give them a call when your train arrives.
