Review the trail maps before heading there. The trailhead has no trails maps, you just have to go and hope you are taking the right trail.

If you're going to Mt Defiance or Starvation Ridge, the trailhead can be tricky to find. This image will help.

Bring a walking stick for the way down. Super confusing trail not well marked. "Easy" loop means 600ft straight up & straight back down.

The Mt Defiance hike is quite challenging.

Confusing and just poorly noted. Not an easy trailhead to even find. Old Man Crawther's will tell you. Watch out.
