Even though the park is on the ocean it is not an easy trip to get to the beach. Especially with kids and/or supplies.

I used to got there decades ago when John was alive and would visit. It was called airforce beach then.

Take advantage of the free nature tours at 10am daily. The guides are really informative.

awesome nature trail just make sure to bring bug spray and don't forget to visit the welcome center they have some cool stuff to see in their exibits

Very beautiful and not crowded! Only beach I have seen with no bells-and-whistle tourist trap shops. My new favorite beach!
