There’re some cafes and gift shops around. The main souvenir of Phu Quoc is pearl. I’d recommend you to go pearl farm if you plan to buy some instead of buying from airport. Limited options to choose.

My leather luggage tag on my checked baggage was stolen at this airport - could be worse, but if own a more valuable one (or one you connected memories with) you should consider removing it before.

Clean airport. Serious security. Waiting room has scenic sunset view. For arrival, take the small cab for better price

Got a valid license? You can rent a bike directly at the airport. We were offered manual for 120k/day and auto for 150k. Good value when you consider it saves on the taxi fare to town, too!

If you can, book a transfer with your hotel. If you can not, try to take a smaller taxi if you are by yourself, as the distance/time units are quite pricey on the island.

Nice airport with food court and Fanny ice cream. 40.000vnd for a box of Fanny ice cream is a lot better than Tan Son Nhat Airport
