A great amount of open space (like we need jungle gyms) great for playing frisbee, baseball and skateboarding. And don't forget about the basketball

On June 19, 1846, the Knickerbockers led by Alexander Cartwright played the New York Nine at Elysian Fields, in what is widely accepted as the first organized Baseball game between two clubs.

The first officially recorded game of baseball in US history took place in Hoboken, NJ in 1846 between Knickerbocker Club and New York Nine at the Elysian Fields (11th & Washington St.).
