There is a bar right outside the hotel. Late at night, it is too noisy and can be heard inside the room

Bring your own wifi/broadband if you're just staying in a standard room. They only have free in the lobby so it's quite a hassle to go all the way down.just to work in stuff.

Fortunately we were only overnighting. A hotel with the better appearance off the streets, but seems to be stuck in the 70s. The staff are hospitable enough though.

Try out the hole-in-the-wall noodle place at the end of Pastor Avenue (across the Shell Gas Station) called "Krossroad". The place looks like sh*t but their pancit guisado and lomi are excellent!
