The food is excellent. Grab soup or a cheeseboard if you're a bit peckish. Always have a couple of interesting real ciders on too.

Consistent quality, good service. Great range of well kept beer with lots of guest Ales. Food really good and never had to wait long for it. Happy to have it as my local.

Tonight on the menu, confit pork shin, it was on the bone when it arrived. I pulled the bone straight out as it was so tender! Delicious.

The Victoria Cheeseboard is great: e.g. Sometset Brie, Cropwell Bishop Stilton, West Country Cheddar, Hereford Hop with water biscuits, walnut bread & chutney.

You won't get chips here, just great home-cooked grub: roast meals, fish pie, lasagne, vegetarian, amazing desserts. And not forgetting superb range of real ales and whiskies.
