There is a "Golden Gate Park Walking Route Map" on the right-hand side of the entryway to the Lodge, including two-mile and a three-mile loops.

Traveling W on JFK into the park, past the lodge and map are yew trees. The semi-translucent red berries have a seed that is exposed. Do not eat the toxic seed but suck edible juice from the aril.
