Visit in the morning to avoid the heat, definitely take the funicular up to the top, and walk down the (slightly hidden) steps to Air Itam market or other food stalls for lunch when you are finished.

Huge temple with lots of buddha statues. Very calming environment. They have a store that sells pretty souvenirs too

Come before 5 Pm if you want to see the Statue. Because the inclined lift will be closed on 5.30 pm. And also its rm2 for the entrance to the Pagoda. Wear proper shoes. Lots of walking 😉
