Beautiful memorial of a terrible catastrophe that struck Ireland in 1845. Thank you Boston! Never forget!

Part of another walking trail in Boston (Irish Heritage Trail). Depicts family pre- and post arrival to America during Great Potato Famine. Read the 8 plaques around the plaza or read more in our blog

Located across the street from the Old Corner Bookstore, this memorial depicts the suffering of 100,000 Irish refugees who came to Boston & eventually rose up to solidify their culture in Boston.
